The Southern Miss School of Polymers and High Performance Materials is proud of your accomplishments and we're proud that you are a part of the Southern Miss alumni family.

That's why we are inviting you to the 2006 President's Invitational Polymer Science Alumni Celebration. Join us as we celebrate the strong past and enduring future of our school and our alumni. It's a celebration you will not want to miss.

During the weekend event, you will:

  • Learn how your department is doing and suggest ways to make it even stronger.
  • Network with fellow graduates and catch up on everyone's latest accomplishments.
  • Learn about the many changes at Southern Miss and the "Hub City."
  • Immerse yourself in memories as you visit the Southern Miss campus and enjoy the excitement of Southern Miss football.

We know that all of our graduates are unique, with different interests and talents, strengths and ambitions. However, we also know that you share a common bond with other Southern Miss graduates - you are forever bound by Black and Gold!

ALL ACTIVITIES EXCEPT GOLFING ARE COMPLIMENTARY TO ALUMNI & THEIR FAMILY

Friday, March 31

  • Lunch-12:00 p.m.
  • Welcome-Dr. Thames-1:00 p.m.
  • Presentations-1:25 p.m.
  • Break and refreshments-2:45 p.m.
  • Poster session-3:15 p.m.
  • Program ends-5:00 p.m.
  • Dinner at the President's home-6:30-8:30 p.m.

If you are interested in golfing on Friday morning, please contact Doug Wicks. Fees TBD.

Saturday, April 1

  • Tailgating-9:00 a.m.
  • Lunch and live band-11:00 a.m.
  • Spring training football game-1:00 p.m.
  • Dismantle of tailgating area-1:00 p.m.
  • Baseball game vs. Memphis-4:00 p.m.
