The Injection Molding Productivity and Product Quality Improvement course is for persons who have a basic understanding of the injection molding process (from actual experience or taking the Introduction to Injection Molding course) but want to learn more about how to improve productivity and part quality. This course covers those aspects of plastics molding technology that will furnish the course attendee with practical, immediately useful information. The technical content of this course deals with plastic processing behavior (flow properties), process control, molding problem-solving analysis, and plastics drying procedures. Teaching Method
Videotapes will be shown to explain principles illustrated in study manuals. Workbook exercises will help enhance the learning process. Use of videotapes, study manuals, and workbooks will be supplmeented with lectures and extensive student/instructor discussions. Each course attendee will receive study manuals, workbooks, reading material, and notes, which can be used for future reference back on the job.
