This two-day course is designed to help the plastics processor gain knowledge that will be useful in improving extrusion process performance and productivity.
The course covers those aspects of plastic extrusion technology that will furnish the course attendee with practical, immediately useful information. The technical content of the course varies from that which is very basic regarding descriptions of the extruder and its operating controls all the way to that which is more advanced regarding plastic processing behavior, process control, and extrusion problem-solving analysis. Teaching Method
Videotapes will be shown to explain principles illustrated in study manuals. Workbook exercises will help enhance the learning process. Use of videotapes, study manuals, and workbooks will be supplmeented with lectures and extensive student/instructor discussions. Each course attendee will receive study manuals, workbooks, reading material, and notes, which can be used for future reference back on the job.
